COVID19 Support

We know this is an incredibly challenging time and we are ready to support you along the path of recovery. Please reach out if you have additional needs or questions.

VIRTUAL COACHING SESSIONS

We are offering free half-hour online coaching sessions to help local farm and food business owners better understand the financial impacts of COVID19. Contact Jeff Cole to schedule a session.

ADDITIONAL COACHING

More extensive follow-up technical assistance is available too. Talk with your business advisor about how to access more assistance in your coaching session, or reach out to Jeff Cole.

MARKETING SUPPORT

We are partnering with longtime friend of The Carrot Project Myrna Greenfield, Top Egg at Good Egg Marketing, to provide digital marketing assistance, such as choosing and implementing an online ordering and delivery platform, moving to e-commerce, or just overall marketing help. Email Jeff Cole to get started.

FEDERAL PROGRAMS

The Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) was approved for a second round of low interest, forgivable loans. Not all loan uses are forgivable. Be sure you know your intended use of the loan funds. This article details what is and isn’t forgivable.

SBA EIDL now open for farmers (and only farmers). The portal opened on May 4th and it’s recommended you apply ASAP. Read more about the program.

If you need support navigating the two SBA applications, reach out to Jeff Cole. While we are not experts on the SBA programs, some of our partners have experience and may be able to provide some guidance.
