The Carrot Project facilitated its first pilot investment to Lee Straw of Straw’s Farm, Newcastle, ME. He received a loan to replace the roof of his barn, which is the core of his diversified animal operation, leading to a signficant increase in profit. The loan originated from Damariscotta Bank & Trust.
