  • The Carrot Project Agriculture Loan Fund

    The Carrot Project Agriculture Loan Fund serves the state of Vermont and is administered in partnership with the Vermont Community Loan Fund, a non-profit community development financial institution. This program offers loans of up to $35,000; a volunteer loan review committee, which includes farmers and agricultural lenders, supports the work of the fund. Learn more.

    The Greater Berkshire Agriculture Fund serves the Berkshire region and is administered in parternship with Salsibury Bank and Trust Company. The program offers loans up to $75,000; a volunteer loan review committee, which includes farmers and agriculture lenders, supports the work of the fund. Learn more.

    The MassDevelopment/The Carrot Project Small Farm Loan Program serves the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, in partnership with MassDevelopment — the state’s economic development finance agency. This program lends amounts of up to $35,000, and is served by a volunteer loan review committee that includes farmers and agricultural lenders. Learn more.

    The Maine Farm Business Loan Fund serves the entire state of Maine, making loans of up to $35,000. It is a collaboration between Coastal Enterprises, Inc. (CEI), a nonprofit community development financial institution, and The Carrot Project. Learn more.
