  • The Carrot Project Agriculture Loan Fund

    The Carrot Project Agriculture Loan Fund serves the state of Vermont and is administered in partnership with the Vermont Community Loan Fund, a non-profit community development financial institution. This program offers loans of up to $35,000; a volunteer loan review committee, which includes farmers and agricultural lenders, supports the work of the fund program. Learn more

  • The Greater Berkshire Agriculture Fund

    The Greater Berkshire Agriculture Fund, our newest program, will serve the Berkshire region and will be assisted by a volunteer loan review committee that includes farmers and agricultural lenders. The maximum loan amount will be $75,000. Learn more.

  • The MassDevelopment/The Carrot Project Small Farm Loan Program

    The MassDevelopment/The Carrot Project Small Farm Loan Program serves the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, in partnership with MassDevelopment — the state’s economic development finance agency. This program lends amounts of up to $35,000, and is served by a volunteer loan review committee that includes farmers and agricultural lenders. Learn more.

  • The Maine Farm Business Loan Fund

    The Maine Farm Business Loan Fund serves the entire state of Maine, making loans of up to $35,000. It is a collaboration between Coastal Enterprises, Inc. (CEI) [link], a nonprofit community development financial institution, and The Carrot Project. Learn more.
