This role coordinates our external communications between programs, implements our public communications, and executes significant parts of the resource development plan. The Development and Communications Coordinator works closely with all staff.

External communications includes coordinating communications planning between different programs and executing organizational marketing across media platforms.

Development programming includes executing development activities such as grant writing, reports, appeals, event planning, and donor and investor management.

The Development and Communications Coordinator thrives in a small dynamic organization, has excellent interpersonal skills, and works well independently and as part of a team. The Development and Communications Coordinator supports organizational core values with a commitment to making positive changes for farm and food entrepreneurs and equity, internally and in programs, to support movement towards a more equitable and resilient farm and food system and local economies.
